Mission and Vision

Covering community gap with compasionate sustainable Actions.

Holistic wellbeing for every vulnerable life we touch.

Founder of Wrap of Care Ministries – Uganda

Mukisa Paul Evans is a compassionate community leader whose life story is deeply connected to the mission of Wrap of Care Ministries. His journey is not one of privilege, but of pain, resilience, and purpose.

Paul became a total orphan at a very young age. He lost his father when he was only one year old, and later lost his mother as well. Growing up without parental support exposed him to the harsh realities of vulnerability—uncertainty, emotional pain, financial hardship, and the daily struggle for basic needs. He understands firsthand what it means to lack school fees, to feel unseen, and to navigate life without the security of a family safety net.

Yet, instead of allowing his circumstances to define him, Paul allowed them to shape his compassion.

Even before officially founding Wrap of Care Ministries in 2021, Paul carried a deep burden for the less privileged.

Having experienced vulnerability himself, Paul did not see these individuals as statistics—he saw himself in them.

His personal story became the true foundation of Wrap of Care Ministries. He started the organization not from abundance, but from empathy. He understood that vulnerability is not only about poverty—it is also about dignity, hope, and opportunity. He believed that if someone had once stood in the gap for him, then he too could stand in the gap for others.

Wrap of Care was therefore born out of lived experience. It was founded on the conviction that no orphan, no child-headed family, no disadvantaged youth should feel alone or forgotten. Paul’s life is a testimony that pain can produce purpose—and that those who have suffered deeply often carry the greatest capacity to care.

Through Wrap of Care Ministries, Mukisa Paul Evans continues to turn his personal story into a movement of hope, empowerment, and holistic transformation for Uganda’s most vulnerable communities.

How We started

Wrap of Care Ministries was started in 2021 by a devoted servant of God Paul Mukisa who carried a deep burden for the less privileged.

Because Many vulnerable individuals, particularly orphans,Child-headed families and disadvantaged youth, face significant challenges including:

  • Limited access to education due to financial constraints
  • High unemployment and lack of income-generating skills
  • Poor sanitation and inadequate access to clean water
  • Food insecurity and lack of proper clothing
  • Emotional trauma, neglect, and lack of counseling support

Without targeted intervention, these challenges perpetuate cycles of poverty, dependency, and hopelessness.
